Morse Code Flashlight Translator

Turn a message into a screen-light signal with safety built in. Flashing starts only when you ask, is rate-limited, and always includes a readable non-flashing Morse alternative.

SIGNAL OFF

Hard-limited to 7 WPM in both the control and playback timer, keeping light-on transitions below three per second.

... --- ...

Flashing is off by default. The Morse line above is a non-flashing alternative.

How it works

How light Morse works

A short light pulse is a dit and a long pulse is a dah. The gaps carry meaning too: one unit between symbols, three between letters and seven between words.

Best results

Safer flashing by default

The signal is off until Start is pressed. High requested speeds are automatically capped so the display never exceeds three flashes per second; anyone sensitive to flashing can use the static dot-dash line instead.
